The creation of this app allowed all members to learn and build on new skills. As the weeks progressed, each member of the team gained confidence in themselves and each other. The ability to give and take constructive criticism allowed the team to keep moving in the right direction.

 

The Organize Me team compiled of one technology path student and three practice path students in which so much was learned from each other. The team managed to build up a strong repour over the time spent working on the app and website which only made areas such as communication so much stronger.

 

Copious paper prototypes, low fidelity, and high-fidelity prototypes were created/tried and tested working closely with all who were so kind to have taken the role of being the user testers of our app. This was conducted with such attention to detail as the ultimate aim of the app was to reduce the stress and confusion of a student’s college life and to facilitate their needs into a singular app.

 

The team used current psychological research when aiming to create a dyslexia friendly app and research on achieving gamification to ensure our app focused on improving users’ positive motivations regarding offered actions, ensuring the improvement of user engagement.

 

Overall, it can be concluded that Organise Me is an innovative, unique, and exciting new application which was designed to positively enhance students’ college work experiences. We, the Organise Me team fully believe we have achieved its intended purpose alongside providing an elegant, user friendly experience.
